LED Light Therapy (Addon Only)

LED (light‑emitting diode) light therapy is a painless, non‑thermal treatment that uses low‑level light energy to trigger natural skin repair and rejuvenation processes. Different colours (wavelengths) of light penetrate the skin at various depths to target concerns such as acne, redness, fine lines and post‑treatment healing without causing damage or downtime.

At Lazer Lux, LED is used on its own or as a calming, results‑boosting add‑on to many of our facials, peels, microneedling and laser treatments.

Each One Is A Unique One
Soothe, clarify and rejuvenate your skin with non‑invasive LED Light Therapy at Lazer Lux. Using specific wavelengths of light (red, blue and near‑infrared), this relaxing treatment helps calm inflammation, clear breakouts and boost collagen for healthier, more radiant skin. Book any of our facials, jet plasma or microneedling treatments and add on an LED session for enhanced results.
Benefits
  • Helps clear mild to moderate acne by killing acne‑causing bacteria and calming inflammation.

  • Softens the appearance of fine lines and improves firmness and elasticity by stimulating collagen.

  • Reduces redness and irritation, supporting sensitive and reactive skins.

  • Speeds up healing after treatments like peels, microneedling and laser by promoting repair and circulation.

  • Boosts overall radiance and evenness of tone with regular sessions.

  • Completely non‑invasive, painless and relaxing, with no downtime.

How it works

  • Blue light (around 415–450 nm) targets acne‑causing bacteria, helping to reduce breakouts and control oil.

  • Red light (around 630–660 nm) penetrates into the dermis to stimulate fibroblasts, boosting collagen and elastin for firmer, smoother skin.

  • Near‑infrared (NIR, around 800–850 nm) reaches deeper tissues, reducing inflammation, easing redness and supporting healing and circulation.

  • Cells absorb the light energy, which triggers biochemical reactions that improve repair, reduce inflammation and enhance overall skin function over time.

  • There is no heat or damage to the skin surface, making LED suitable for regular use and for sensitive skins when used correctly.

What it can help with

LED is ideal if you want to address:

  • Acne and breakout‑prone skin (especially inflammatory lesions).

  • Redness, sensitivity and some rosacea‑type flushing.

  • Fine lines, early wrinkles and loss of elasticity.

  • Dull, tired‑looking skin needing a radiance boost.

  • Post‑treatment recovery (after microneedling, peels, laser or extractions).

Your therapist can choose single colours or combinations (e.g. blue + red for acne, red + NIR for anti‑ageing and recovery) depending on your goals.

Results & How Many Sessions Needed

Some clients notice softer, calmer and slightly more radiant skin after the first session, especially when LED is combined with a facial. For acne, ageing and redness, research and clinical practice show that consistent treatments over several weeks give the best outcomes – for example, regular sessions over 4–6 weeks, then maintenance as needed.

With ongoing use, LED can help maintain clearer, more resilient and youthful‑looking skin, particularly when paired with good home care and sun protection.
